Since Primark has opened in Zaandam I have been there two times. The first time on the opening day itself and the second time was last Saturday when I was searchng for a christmas present for my younger sister. I have had my doubts about Primark since I visited the Primark in Hoofddorp a few months ago. It was so crowded and I couldn't find anything nice but the Primark in Zaandam is much better. It's really big and organized for a Primark. On the first floor are the menswear, children's wear and shoes. Downstairs are the women's wear including bags and accessories. I thought it was fun to show you what I have bought there!

Hi everyone! It has been a while ago since I have posted more than one article a month.. I'm so sorry for that but I haven't got much time to make pictures, edit them and write a post. Ok. Back to the purpose of this post because today is my blog anniversary!!! My blog excist exactly 2 years today. I can't believe that time has flown so fast. This year wasn't my greatest year but I still haven't regret that I bought a domain in May this year. It has made my blog look more professional. I also got a lot more views and followers this year. I bought this glittery jumper at ZARA a few weeks ago. I really love this colour en the golden details. Luckily it suit me perfectly, just how I want it to be since the jumper is size L. Don't you have a clothing item as well that you want to wear it twice a week but you have to resist that?

FAVOURITE BEAUTY PRODUCT: Bourjois Healthy Mic Serum Foundation

After a lot of recommendations I decided to buy this foundation of Bourjois. I don't like to wear foundation often 'cause I'm afraid that it's not the right colour or the effect is too cakey. But this product is so good! I love the colour, it looks very natural and you don't have to use much. Oh, I like the smell as well. It's not chemically or so.


FAVOURITE SONG: Birdy - Shelter

Since this song was played in a scene of The Vampire Diaries I have been completely hooked. It's so beautiful! I also can't believe that the girl, whose singing this song, was just 12-year old when she won the American Idol. Such a talented girl!

FAVOURITE TV SERIE: The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries is such a great serie about a girl whose loved by two vampires (brothers). I know you might think it's just another sci-fi serie but this is so different from others. EVERYTHING is good about this serie, the actors, the music, the scripts, the story lines and everytime when I watch a new episode I have to watch it twice 'cause a lot of thing has happened. It's so much better than Twilight. Vampires in Twilight shine in the sun while vampires in TVD burn in the sun. I can tell you, this show is not about vampires (okay, and witches and werewolves) but it's about the impossible love. A tip, don't watch it when you have to learn for your exams or mid-terms because every episode has a HUGE and unpredictable cliffhanger. Click here for the promo of season 1!

Yesterday I went with my sister to Amsterdam for the Grazia PC Catwalk. The event took place in the PC Hooftstraat which is one of the most luxurious streets in Holland with shops like Chanel, Tiffany & Co, Burberry, Cartier and Gucci. The event was held for the fourth time and it was organized by fashion magazine Grazia! When we arrived there, we saw the catwalk from 320 meters with 1200 front row seats (!). On every seat was an umbrella and the Grazia magazine with a shopping guide. So if it was going to rain or not, we were prepared. The host of the event was Stacey Rookhuizen. She is also known as the presenter from Project Catwalk and the juror from X-factor. The opening act was given by Adlicious, a Dutch pop group. After a delay from 15 minutes the catwalk show began! Autumn collections of shops in this street were shown on the catwalk. The garments were worn by more than 100 models (kids as well!). Brands that participated included Replay, River Woods, Cosmic Cowboys, Armani and D&G. It was a pity that I missed the final because I had to get the train but after all it was such a fun day. Next year I'll definitely be there again!

One of the colours for this fall is definitely mustard! I really like this colour and it's so easy to combinate. I would combinate this colour by wearing a mustard knitted sweater with a pair of leather jeans. Comfortable and great for the rainy and cold days which we really can expect! I would wear that outfit with some golden accessoiries like a golden cuff and a choker necklace. Oh, I love simplicity! I'm currently obsessed with this beautiful colour from the Herome W.I.C nailpolish collection! The colour is called "New Delhi". It's a turquoise/sea blue coloured nailpolish which I've wanted for a long time. This is my second nailpolish from Herome, I've reviewed the first one as well. I noticed the collection has been renewed. The size of the nailpolish bottle is now a bit bigger. I really love the substance of the nailpolish. Two layers are enough for a great look. A small negative aspect is that it chips very fast. Mostly, it begins chipping after one or two weeks but this time the nailpolish has chipped in two days.. However, I do not regret buying it! I really love this colour! You can buy the Herome W.I.C nailpolish in almost every drugstore. I got mines from DA for only €7,50.


OMG! I'm sooo addicted to this Green Tea from Arizona! I love the bottle, it's so beautiful.. I thought it was fun to put it into this blogpost because of the same colour. This stuff is so good and very healthy as well!

I used to go shop at H&M alot and by shop I mean online shopping but lately I don't like the items of their new collections. Yesterday I checked out their webshop to see what kind of items they have and I was really suprised. I love the glitter/metallic tops and the golden choker necklace. It's definitely something I would wear and since I have planned a shopping trip to Rotterdam with Maika, I'm going to search for that top and necklace. I love the other items as well so I've made a college for you. Another college, I know.. Lately I don't feel like blogging anymore. I don't want to see it as something I "have" to do so I'm very sorry for the lack of (personal) updates.

Yay! First blogpost of August. Hope August will be good to me! So to start the month fashionable I've made a collage of my current wants at Topshop. I love the shorts with the flag of the US and the marble stone ring in the middle! While I was looking for some nice pieces I saw a sweater with "Yours truly" on it so I decided to put that in my collage as well. Toen ik op zoek was naar leuke items uit de webshop, kwam ik opeens een hele leuke sweater tegen met "Yours truly" erop. Dat vond ik erg leuk dus heb ik hem ook in mijn collage gezet. For today I've made up another outfit 'cause I was bored.. I wore this outfit yesterday. Just because I didn't go to something important I kept the look very simple. The weather was a bit sad and it was about to rain, like you can see in the photos, so it was the great time to wear my beige jacket from Zara. I don't wear this jacket much 'cause I can't lock the jacket. The buttons are so fragile. They are stuck with a few strings. Because I can not lock my jacket I wanted to wear something notable under. I've choosen for my lovely waterfall cardigan from ASOS.

Ik had deze outfit gister aan. Ik hield het simpel omdat ik niet naar iets belangrijks ging. Het weer was, zoals gewoonlijk, somber en er hing overal grijze wolken. Omdat de zon niet scheen besloot ik om mijn military jacket van de Zara aan te trekken. Ik kan de jas niet dicht doen omdat de knoopjes erg los zitten. De knoopjes zijn vast gemaakt aan een paar draadjes. Ik moest de jas dus opendragen en wou dus iets opvallends eronder dragen. Ik besloot om mijn waterfall cardigan van ASOS aan te doen. Dat geeft wel een leuk detail aan de hele outfit!

After I have finished work I came out the store noticing that it was such a beautiful weather! So I couldn't wait to go home and make a new outfit post. I've chosen for the colours: beige, black and white. You can see my beloved Mulberry Bayswater as well. I wore a blazer 'cause after I have shooted the pictures I had to run off to the city. I have had a dinner there with some friends! I love when the sun is shining like this in Holland. Mostly, the weather looks a bit sad and it's raining very often. So I'm happy that I grab the chance to shoot some pictures.

Nadat ik uit mijn werk kwam, merkte het mij op dat het echt een prachtige dag was! Ik moet vaak vroeg opstaan dus meestal weet ik niet hoe het weer zich ontwikkeld in de loop van de dag. Ik kon niet wachten om naar huis te gaan want dan kon ik foto's maken voor een nieuwe outfit post. Ik heb gekozen voor de kleuren beige, zwart en wit. Je kunt zien dat ik echt gek ben op mijn tas! Het is echt de perfecte tas qua kleur, maat en vorm. Op een dag zal de échte Mulberry Bayswater in mijn bezit zijn..
